In Ayurveda, the appearance of the skin covering our bodies depends on the health of the skin on the inside of our bodies.
Most importantly, it is a reflection of the skin that lines the intestinal tract.
In my Skin Health category of articles, I provide numerous techniques to support the optimal health of the internal and external skin, including diet, lifestyle, and skin care habits that encourage vibrant, glowing skin.
As the large majority of your skin’s health is due to internal factors, take the Internal Skin Health Quiz to help target the cause of your skin concern.

Step 3 – Himalayan Mist Facial Spritzer
As all the LifeSpa Products are concentrated ingredients and do not contain any added water, it is ideal to use them on damp skin. Spray the Himalayan Mist Ayurvedic Facial Spritzer on the skin before using the Luscious Mango Body Butter, Royal Glow Ayurvedic Facial Moisturizer and Fountain of Youth Ayurvedic Skin Serum for best results. Carry it with you in your car or purse for a quick mood elevating refresher and to hydrate your skin. Keeping your skin hydrated is one of the most important steps you can take for healthier skin that looks more youthful. You can also set it out somewhere that you will see it throughout the day to remind yourself to spritz with it regularly, such as your kitchen table or desk.
Ingredients: Spring Water, Himalayan Glacial Water (from the glacial source of the Ganges), Floral Essence.
Step 4 – Royal Glow Facial Moisturizer
Apply one to two drops on a slightly moist face, neck and chest. Massage the moisturizer into your skin thoroughly and gently. There is no need to tug on your skin – just let your fingers float over the surface of your skin as your massage it in. If your skin is dry, you may need to use two to four drops. Follow with the Fountain of Youth Ayurvedic Skin Serum.
