Ayurveda describes the cause of cancer as a loss of cellular memory, where cells have forgotten how to function as a part of the whole. Stressed cancer cells cannot survive very long being isolated from the whole, so they start dividing rapidly, attempting outrace the body’s programmed cell death for such rogue cells.
Restoring cellular memory of how to function as part of the whole is the cancer solution.
In my interview with Dr. Zach Bush, he describes the Ayurvedic understanding of cancer in terms of cutting-edge modern science while eloquently relating cancer’s cellular isolation to the growing trend toward nationalism and global isolationism that we are seeing in the macrocosm.
The solution: we must become whole again, as the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts.

Amazing interview and incredible knowledge shared by both of you. I too am a 24 year cancer survivor who knows it was the best thing that happen to me at 40 years of age. I started visiting Lancaster Ayurvedic for panchakarma treatments in about 1993 with you and Dr Glazer. On one visit you said to me my heart and head were not connected and I knew something internally was wrong. When I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer,, I postponed my surgery until I prepared myself mentally and physical by going to Lancaster. How fortunate that I was there at that same time as Ashtavaidya Moose and the joytish.
I experienced bliss during this experience of meditation and treatment. I know this rebalancing saved my life and I am so blessed to have found the peace of meditation and Ayurveda. Thank you for continuing the knowledge and the consultations over the years. I am an advocate for Lifespa and the resources you provide.

To both of you, my heartfelt thank you. Such an amazing interview and interconnection of spirit and science, body and mind, soul and universe. Bravo for putting this out and reminding us that there are no parts that can survive isolated from the whole, not within our microcosm (body) and not in the macrocosm (universe).

Thank you for this incredible interview!!
As an Ayurvedic practitioner who, in large part, came into this work because I carry BRCA2, the reproductive gene responsible for my mom, grandmother, and great grandmother’s deaths, I am VERY curious to know both Dr. Bush’s and Dr. Douillard’s thoughts on individuals who are predisposed in this way.
Thank you!!

Well, ok the pesticides are the major cause of cancer. However, there is no mention of microwaves, wireless devices, aspartame aтв all that crap that is a major cause of the now popular disease. And most importantly, that sugar is fuel for cancer.

Thank you Dr Bush as you info will help many to understand more about the actual drivers of cancer: Toxicity. It is in our daily intake of chemicals & attitudes we become separable to cancer.
