You are welcome to come for the day and enjoy a 1-hour or 2-hour Ayurvedic Spa treatment with our loving and skilled Panchakarma therapists.

We can design the perfect treatment for you based on your goals, such as detox, sinus decongestion, relaxing muscles, or calming the mind.

If you like, you can add a consult with Dr. Douillard and even prep with our Free 4-day Short Home Cleanse before your treatment to help further disarm your nervous system and detox.

Abhyanga/Shirodhara
(ah-be-yun-guh)(sheer-oh-dar-uh) Herbalized oil massage with stream of herbalized oil over forehead
A luxurious warm herbalized massage using flowing strokes to open up the detox channels and deeply relax the mind and body. This is followed with a stream of warm, herbalized oil flowing across the forehead to help synchronize the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Many of our patients have nicknamed this “the Bliss Treatment” because it helps quiet the mind into natural stillness.

Abhyanga/Swedana
(ah-be-yun-guh)(svway-duh-nah) Herbalized oil massage with herbalized steam bath
A luxurious warm herbalized massage using flowing strokes to open up the detox channels and deeply relax the mind and body. This is followed with an herbalized steam tent designed to release toxins from the neck down. For your comfort, your therapist assists to keep your head and core cool.

Garshana/Abhyanga
(gar-shuh-nuh)(ah-be-yun-gah) Lymphatic skin brushing and herbalized oil massage
Dry, lymphatic skin-brushing with wool or silk gloves. This enhances circulation and cleans the skin so that subsequent oil and herbal treatments can penetrate deeply into the freshly cleansed pores of the skin. This is followed with a luxurious warm herbalized massage using flowing strokes to open up the detox channels and deeply relax the mind and body.

Shiro-Abhyanga-Nasya
(sheer-oh)(ah-be-yun-guh)(naws-yuh) Head and neck massage, stream of herbalized oil over forehead, ginger oil nasal inhalation
The sublime combination of a deep head, neck, and shoulder massage and a facial lymphatic massage. Nasya is ginger oil applied to the nostrils to help cleanse and lubricate the sagittal sinus. This can be a very helpful treatment for deep emotional blocks, chronic allergies, sinus congestion, and headaches.

Udvartana
(ood-vart-uh-nuh) Lymphatic massage with herbal paste
A decadent, penetrating lymphatic massage, using an application of a warm herbal paste. This powerful exfoliating treatment presses stagnant lymphatic toxins out of the body and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.

Vishesh
(vee-shesh) Deep massage for the musculature of the body
A deep muscular massage that breaks up adhesions and improves circulation deep within the muscle spindles. When channels are blocked, neither awareness nor blood can access these deep tissues.

What is an S.A.N.?
Shirodhara-Abhyanga-Nasya – A luxurious combination of a deep head, neck and shoulder massage, facial lymphatic massage, and a nasya with deep inhalation of therapeutic aromatic steam. This can be performed in conjunction with other treatments as you will see below.

Abhyanga/S.A.N.
A warm herbalized full body massage with special focus given to the head, neck, and shoulders, complemented with a facial lymphatic massage, along with deep inhalation of therapeutic aromatic steam.

S.A.N./Swedana
A luxurious combination of a deep head, neck and shoulder massage, facial lymphatic massage, and a nasya with deep inhalation of therapeutic aromatic steam. This is followed with an herbalized, luxurious steam tent covering the body from the neck down.

Shirodhara/S.A.N.
A luxurious combination of a deep head, neck and shoulder massage, facial lymphatic massage, and a nasya with deep inhalation of therapeutic aromatic steam. This is followed with a stream of warm, herbalized oil flowing across the forehead to help synchronize the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

Udvartana/Swedana/Shirodhara
A deeply penetrating lymphatic massage with exfoliating herbal paste, a luxurious steam bath, followed with warm herbalized oil gently and methodically poured over the forehead.

Ayurvedic Facial
$160: 1 hour with 1 therapist

The LifeSpa Ayurvedic facial is not your standard facial. Our one hour long Ayurvedic facial is a deeply relaxing, soothing and transformational experience.  The facial is, amazingly, one of the most powerful treatments in Ayurvedic therapy.

In Ayurveda we treat the body according to its natural healing priority system.  In fact there are seven tissues or systems we treat in priority.  These are known in Ayurveda as the “dhatus.”  We’ll talk about the first two here.  The first of the seven is called the “rasa dhatu,” or the lymph of the body.  The second is the blood, or the “rakta dhatu”.

Western medicine evaluates health by measuring the quality of the blood. Your circulatory system is like the faucets in your house.  Your lymph system is like the drains.  If  the drains are clogged, they will certainly back up into the blood, causing a disorder of the blood.  By treating the lymph through the skin, we are essentially preventing an imbalance from arising in the blood stream.  When that imbalance is in the blood stream, it is monitored by Western medicine and known as a pathology.

The LifeSpa Ayurvedic Facial is unique because it stimulates lymphatic drainage from the skin into the circulatory system of the body.  If the lymph is sluggish, then the skin, which is drained by the lymph, will dry out, get wrinkled, develop acne, blackheads or whiteheads, and be unable to tolerate sun or weather, and basically become non-functional as an organ.

The skin is the fourth most important exit ramp for impurities to be excreted out of the body following the liver, kidneys and colon.  If the skin gets dry and toxic from the environment and the lymph becomes congested, the skin will be rendered non-functional.  These impurities slotted for lymph and skin removal will be shunted into the muscles, joints and fat cells, creating problems there, and further age the texture of the skin.
