Facial at LifeSpa with our Ayurvedic Skin Care
The LifeSpa Ayurvedic facial is not your standard facial. Our one hour long Ayurvedic facial is a deeply relaxing, soothing and transformational experience. The facial is, amazingly, one of the most powerful treatments in Ayurvedic therapy.
The LifeSpa Ayurvedic Facial is unique because it stimulates lymphatic drainage from the skin into the circulatory system of the body. If the lymph is sluggish, then the skin, which is drained by the lymph, will dry out, get wrinkled, develop acne, blackheads or whiteheads, and be unable to tolerate sun or weather, and basically become non-functional as an organ.
Once the skin is detoxified and the lymph is adequately moving waste away from the skin, we can then activate the skin’s optimal moisturizing factors that restore the skin to optimal function. Soon you need less and less of our moisturizing products: Facial Moisturizer, Wrinkle Serum, and Body Butter, because the skin is now restoring normal function and moisturizing itself. These products are “medicine for the skin” that are designed to establish optimal health through balanced lymph and skin function.

Daily Self Massage at Home
The purpose of Ayurvedic daily oil massage, also called abhyanga, as part of the daily routine is to assist in preventing the accumulation of physiological imbalances and to lubricate and promote flexibility of the muscles, tissues, and joints. The classical texts of Ayurveda also indicate that daily massage promotes softness and luster of the skin as well as youthfulness.
